Goethe-Institut Exams

Goethe-Institute Certificates serve as a worldwide recognised evidence of the command of German language and the ability to use it in variety of contexts and situations: daily activities and routines, academic purpose (schools and universities), learning or getting a job etc.

'Language Corner' offers you intensive and focused training for your ongoing Goethe-Institute exam session. Keep in mind that Goethe-Institute exams are complex and versatile targeting all your language competences: reading, writing, listening and speaking. It means you have to show your best using German language while completing various sets of tasks.

Our school has been offering Goethe-Institute Exams training since 2013, employing only highly qualified teachers, implementing the latest language teaching methods, proposing intensive mentoring and advice which could be shared with you in form of practical tips, extra exercises, example tests and texts.

Goethe-Institut Exams structure

Goethe-Institut Certificates follow the logic of CEFR levels (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) which means that one of main goals of the exams is to measure German language competence across the main 6 levels.

Communicative approach in language teaching defines the logic and procedures of the exam, and the way how students' abilities in parts 'Reading', 'Writing', 'Listening' and 'Speaking' will be assessed. Additionally, every part - Reading and Listening, Writing and Speaking - consist of sets of graded tasks (articles, text passages, emails, audio texts etc.). Every level has got specific requirements and sets of skills (see below) needed from a student to get as high scores as possible.
